Sr. Program Manager - Surgical

Are you an experienced program manager with a passion for leading cross-functional teams and delivering innovative medical devices? Join our dynamic Surgical Division as a Sr. Program Manager - Surgical  and play a pivotal role in the development and expansion of cutting-edge products that improve patient outcomes. This role will sit in Marlborough, MA and are we open to a hybrid schedule. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead small and large New Product Development (NPD) projects from initiation through completion within the medical device sector.
  • Coordinate Design History File (DHF) transfers and support both new and existing product development, including market expansion projects.
  • Drive teams to achieve cost, schedule, and performance goals while ensuring adherence to design controls and the Product Development process.
  • Present project status updates and key metrics to Senior Management.
  • Assemble, report, and communicate program status, deliverables, and performance metrics to both management and project teams.
  • Proactively engage stakeholders to align expectations and develop strong collaborative relationships.
  • Support PMO initiatives, define and establish best practices, and mentor cross-functional teams in PMO tools and processes.
  • Guide and mentor other program and project managers.
  • Support business portfolio planning, development, and prioritization.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (required).
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience managing complex NPD, business, commercial, or operations projects in the medical device industry.
  • Proven project management skills in budgeting, planning, tracking, organization, and analytical thinking.
  • Experience with global PMO practices and project management tools: on-boarding, kickoff meetings, risk registers/RAID logs, Gantt charts, WBS, and communication plans.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to influence and lead diverse teams, including executives.
  • Action-oriented, self-motivated, highly organized, and results-driven.

The annualized base salary range for this role is $138,000 - $230,000 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
