What to expect:
- Works closely with other engineering technicians and engineers to develop an expert level of understanding of our products to test, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair them.
- Performs complex experiments that may require support and coordination with other technicians or engineers.
- Responsible for initial diagnostic testing of issues that arise in the field. Works in conjunction with R&D, Ops and Service where appropriate.
- Assess complaints and classify them accordingly.
- Follows work instructions to assemble or disassemble products or replace components.
- Responsible for the creation of detailed documentation. Creates comprehensive service and investigation notes.
What we expect:
- Actively supports and adheres to the Quality Policy and Quality System procedures.
- Establish collaborative relationships with all stakeholders within the site.
- Provide improvement ideas based on direct observations.
- Mentor, train and assist with less senior staff.
- Complete all training requirements in a timely manner and maintain accurate training records.
Education & Experience:
- Preferred Minimum Non-Technical Degree: High School (H.S./GED) or Associate Degree
- Preferred Minimum Non-Technical Degree: 1-3 Years
- Experience working in a certified medical device environment is beneficial.
- Experience with Agile or Oracle is beneficial.
The annualized base salary range for this hourly role is $47,800 - 60,000 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
