Surgical Support Representative
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical & Technical Support (80%):
- Provide real-time, in-surgery technical guidance and troubleshooting for the company’s surgical devices, instruments and technologies.
- Ensure proper device set-up, operation and adherence to IFU (Instructions for Use) within the sterile field or from a consultative position.
- Educate and train surgical staff (surgeons, nurses, scrub techs) on the features , benefits and application of products.
- Anticipate surgical needs and manage inventory if required devices/ accessories for scheduled cases.
- Document case observations, product usage and customer feedback
Logistics & Case Management (20%):
- Coordinate closely with Sale Representatives and hospital staff to schedule and confirm support for surgical procedures.
- Manage the logistics of product kits, ensuring timely delivery, availability and post-case billing and top-up.
- Assist with tracking and management of hospital-owned inventory and consigned sets.
- Facilitate the timely resolution of any product-related issues, including coordination replacements or repairs.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a life science, nursing, biomedical engineering or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in a clinical support role within the medical device industry (e.g: surgical tech, clinical specialist, field service engineer) or recent experience as a certified surgical technologist (CST) or Nurse.
- Proven experience in an operating room environment is ESSENTIAL
- Experience with Obstetrics & Gynecology is a STRONG PLUS.

- Ability to think critically, solve problems under pressure and maintain composure in a fast-paced or setting.
- Strong organizational and logistical planning abilities.
- Self-motivated , proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Physical & Travel Requirements:
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings and occasional weekends based on surgical caseload.
This is a 1 year contractor role.
