Senior Financial Analyst

The Corporate FP&A team is a key piece of the Hologic finance organization, providing financial support and analysis directly to senior and executive leadership. Reporting to a Manager, the Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for developing financial models, budget forecasting, monthly and quarterly reporting, and project work. Additionally, the ideal candidate will maintain close working relationships with our corporate business partners, engaging with them regularly to support and align budgets. The role has regular executive exposure on a highly engaged team, focused on delivering critical business insights. The successful candidate is expected to work on-site (Marlborough, MA) four days a week. 

What To Expect:

  • Maintain a trusted working relationship with department owners, including Hologic’s Global Leadership Team. 
  • Work with business partners to develop robust annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, while also setting performance expectations for each department owner.
  • Analyze current and historical trends for key performance measurements, identify opportunities for financial improvement, and provide recommendations to management.
  • Apply knowledge of business systems and processes, leveraging best practices when working with business partners to solve budgetary issues.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly department reporting packages, including standard reports and variance commentary.
  • Identify opportunities for improved processes across both the team and the wider Finance organization.
  • Assist with the implementation of budgeting, forecasting, and reporting software tools.
  • Collaborate across peer group to ensure corporate and divisional financial alignment. 
  • Develop materials for senior leadership reviews (Global Leadership Team and Board of Directors), providing critical insight into the business.
  • Provide financial modeling, financial analysis, and ad-hoc projects as required.

What We Expect:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Finance.
  • 3-5 years of related financial experience.
  • Highly motivated individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong business partnering skills and the ability to build solid working relationships.
  • Advanced knowledge of financial modeling and accounting principles (accruals, prepaids, amortization).
  • Demonstrated track record of delivery of results in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Preferred experience in project accounting and purchase order management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Commitment to learning and a growth mindset, with a focus on automation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Exceptional skills in managing, analyzing, and summarizing large data sets in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with ERP systems (Oracle is strongly preferred).
  • Experience with BI systems, specifically Oracle Hyperion/Essbase and Microsoft Power BI.

The annualized base salary range for this role is $78,000 to $123,000 and is bonus eligible.  Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
