Lead Software Development Analyst

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and implement technical solutions and integrations supporting business processes while keeping the big picture and technical architecture in mind.
• Ability to develop working Proof of Concepts with limited direction, while utilizing best practices and industry standards.
• Support Hologic’s Integration Hub (MuleSoft and Azure) – layered API architecture orchestration, loosely-coupled event driven integrations utilizing publish/subscribe and/or request/response model. 
• Review and optimize proposed Oracle EBS custom solutions and extensions following best practice procedures and coding guidelines.
• Monitor EDI transactions with customers, suppliers, and 3PL’s when necessary, troubleshoot and resolve production issues and perform root cause analysis
• Participate in the design, setup, and testing of Oracle EBS, integrations (between internal applications and with partners) to appropriately support business requirements
• Plan and conduct thorough program testing, which includes user acceptance and sign-off of specific solution
• Investigate new technology, methods, systems and services for scalable, secure, and reliable data distribution and management.
• Change-Release Management of bug-fix/enhancements
• Communicate progress on system support issues and projects implementation to management and user groups
• Manage vendor relationships to achieve required functionality and support
• Manage priorities and expectations of user requests and assigned project
• Assist users in maintaining training and procedure/process documents

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent and at least 8 years of experience in software development.
• 6+ years of experience with Oracle E-Business Suite Applications, with an emphasis on interfaces, extensions, eCommerce, and EDI
• 3-5 years of experience supporting Enterprise Integrations on middleware platforms (MuleSoft, Boomi, webMethods, Oracle SOA Suite), including ESB/ISB, API and web services development, SOAP/REST, event driven Publish/Subscribe model
• Experience with API development in Cloud services platform such as Azure and Amazon Web Services – API Management, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, is a big plus
• Strong understanding of the Oracle E-business suite data model
• Strong understanding of GHX products
• Ability to learn new applications and development tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a larger program
• Ability to manage time and workload on multiple projects/initiatives
• Must have strong analysis, design, and project management skills
• Must have good customer interaction, training skills and outstanding written and verbal communication skills
