As our Manufacturing Engineer, you will support the engineering team and site to deliver our Capital Project delivery, Site Asset Improvement and Reliability plan and our Asset Care strategy across a 24/7 operating site. 

What To Expect

  • Management of engineering projects related to site plan
  • Delivery of the Engineering Maintenance plan through Coordination between production, Planning and the engineering teams.
  • Ensure Service and Insurance requirements are delivered in compliance with the agreed plan
  • Reviewing Maintenance effectiveness and machine history to develop engineering reports, KPIs and continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Provides technical engineering support for repairing, troubleshooting, and modifying equipment and systems.
  • Supports Site Operational Asset Base Reviewing Maintenance effectiveness and machine history to develop engineering reports, KPIs and continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Provides general engineering services and support.
  • Manage the design, acquisition, installation and commission of mechanical/electrical equipment, systems, and parts to support manufacturing.
  • Perform process transfers from Engineering to Manufacturing including processes and equipment training.
  • Manage outside vendor’s, establishing relationships to provide equipment proposal, user requirement specification, development, installation, qualification and sustaining support of equipment and processes.
  • Writing and reviewing operating procedures, documents, and reports
  • Writing and reviewing Design of Experiments and other Engineering study to challenge functionality of automated equipment.
  • Performs Engineering studies for equipment, process, and product performance testing.
  • Manage Engineering aspects for qualifying and changes in raw materials, vendors and perform investigations for non-conformance events.
  • Designs and implements automated solutions to manufacturing challenges.
  • Provides validation input and support for new equipment and process validations.
  • Reviewing and executing Installation, Operation, and Performance Qualification Validations; including writing final reports

What We Expect

  • Engineering Degree or HNC/ NVQ level 3 or equivalent in an engineering discipline
  • Substantial industrial experience, with specific experience working in a “Trouble Shooting Role” 
  • Ability to read and interpret Engineering manuals and Drawings.
  • Excellent PC, Data Analysis and Communication skills 
  • Previous Experience in a similar role desired but not essential
  • Lean Manufacturing and/or Six-Sigma Certification preferred but not required.
  • Project management certification preferred but not required.
  • Proven experience in regulated environment preferably Pharma/Medical Devices.
